The Marching Firebirds!

 

Heart of America Marching Festival Awards

 

The Marching Firebirds placed 4th overall at the Heart of America Marching Festival at KU

last Saturday against a strong field of competition.  Less than 2.5 points separated the top 4 teams! 

Free State also placed 1st in the prelims, was Best in Class, and was 1st in overall Music Execution. 

 Way to go Firebird Band!

The students did an excellent job, especially under the weather and field conditions.
